Leos and I went to a Colombian Festival on Saturday and randomly bumped into a friend of ours whom we haven't seen in a long time. He was planning a tea ceremony at his apartment the next day, so he invited us over to join. We got to try a lot of delicious green teas that he purchased from China. He is very knowledgeable about green tea so it was nice to learn some facts and enjoy some tea. It was a nice afternoon of chatting and meeting some new people. Looking forward to the next time!
I visited Kutna Hora two weeks prior, but decided to visit again. This time I found an area that I had never been to before. The views from the garden were really nice. I am so glad that I walked a different way and stumbled upon the beautiful garden. Its always nice to visit Kutna Hora and it isn't that far from Prague. The lunch spot was great because we could see the main church and the food was nice.
It had been a while since I visited the Devil's Head in Melnik so I figured it was time to visit it again. At the bottom of the trail I noticed that there was a map showing different locations with other random faces carved in the stone. Next time I visit I will make sure that I have enough time to check out the entire area. For lunch we had Indian food. The food was great and the naan was bigger than my hand. It was a nice day.
The best view of the Vltava River is definitely Vyhlidka Maj. Its less than an hour drive from Prague. The best time to visit is in the fall because you can see all the different color of leaves. The best point of view is a bit difficult to get down to, but the effort if definitely worth it because the view is so much better than from the top. From the top the trees block the perfect "U" shape. It was such a great day. Afterwards we went for lunch and had Greek food. The food was fantastic. I do not think I have actually been to a Greek restaurant in the Czech Republic and I happen to find one outside of Prague. If you get the chance to go, its in Davle.
In the morning I went to the Botanical Garden in Prague 2 near Albertov. There were so many plants and it was nice to see the variety . For lunch I grabbed some Japanese soba. In the afternoon I had to take Tania back to the bus terminal so she could return back to Amsterdam for her flight back to Seattle. It was a busy week with her. but really great. We managed to do a lot of things and I hope she will return again in the future.
