Butterfly, Walk, Nice food, New Glasses

When I went on a walk through Petrin, I came across a very beautiful butterfly. I wanted to see if I would be able to get it on my finger and sure enough I was able to.  I was even able to get it close to my face.  When I put the butterfly on my friend's finger, it immediately flew away.  I guess it only liked me :)  We continued our walk through the castle and into my favorite park in the castle area.  Then when we walked next to the river, we saw people putting the boats from last night's concert into huge trucks to drive back to Italy.  For lunch, we went to the place I had my wedding reception at.  The food was good, but the service was nothing like the wedding reception.  When we got back to Andel, there were ducks in the tram area!  The next day, one of students made me glasses similar to the ones for my blog with her 3D pen.  I think she did a FANTASTIC job! They are so cute!

Leoš's Birthday

For Leoš's birthday I wanted to take him to a nice restaurant.  On the way to the restaurant we came across a huge religious procession. There were so many people around and part of the procession. We needed to get in front of the parade otherwise we would be late for our reservation.  Our food was absolutely delicious and the staff did a good job.  While eating dinner we were able to see boats and fire go off on the water.  After dinner I wanted to walk on the bridge to see what was going on.  There was a concert on the river, so we watched it for a bit.  It was very beautiful.  Some of the boats that were part of it came all the way from Italy.  It was a very unique thing to watch.

Telc

We visited Trebic for Leoš's birthday and made a small side trip to Telč.  It was a cute town and is a UNESCO heritage site.  It was such a cold day, but it was nice to walk around and see all the sites. Within one hour the weather changed quite a bit.  When we arrived it was cloudy, gloomy with a bit of drizzle and when we left it was sunny with blue skies!

Senate Building

It was a beautiful day, so Leoš and I walked through Petrin and then the walking path under the castle.  We made our way to the Senate Building because there was an open day for the public.  It was nice to be able to walk around the Senat and see all the rooms in the building.  I even saw an old map that has the village where my father grew up.  After our walk through the Senat, we walked through Wallenstein Garden and made our way home.
