Today we got to discover the taste of the south of France. We made bagna cauda to accompany a lot of veggies. The tomato and mustard puff pastry tart was light and oh so good. I could've eaten several pieces of it!! The socca was a unique way to use chickpea flour and very interesting in the fact that it was not flipped when made on the pan. The French Riviera rice salad with dressing was really nice and to top it all off we had a FANTASTIC clafoutis! One new thing that everyone who wasn't from France learned was to eat radish with butter and salt. So unique and it cut the sharpness. This is something you definitely learn from locals!! Thank you Claire for teaching a great class full of many dishes!! Thank you Jerry for hosting and for everyone for joining. We even had members who had moved to Germany, but were here for the weekend join us. It was a great class!! I was very fortunate to receive two gifts at the class. A small container of homemade veggie stock and a knife sharpener!! See you next month
