my students

I moved from Australia to Japan because I got a teaching job for 3 months.  My time with my students has come to an end.  I have had a great time teaching them and they all have improved so much in the short time I was with them.  Thanks for making everyday fun ladies.  Keep up the good work and please continue to study English!!!!

mochi(rice cake) making

Today my friend and I decided to go to Tokyo dome to wander around.  Before that we went to get some delicious burgers for lunch.  After lunch we passed a small street where the locals were making traditional rice cakes.  I HAD to join in.  I had a lot of fun and they even gave my friend and I free samples of what we made.  DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!  Thank you all so very much for letting us join in on the fun and giving us the delicious mochi!!!  Afterwards we went to the dome and rode on an awesome roller coaster that at one point went THROUGH a building.  Here is my video of it!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iK5IdSFplCI   Check it out!!!

ginza

My friend and I walked all around Ginza and even shopped at the biggest UNIQLO in Japan.  It was VERY big!!! 12 floors of goodness!!  In the evening we met up with 2 more of my friends at an awesome buffet.  It was all you can grill meat and booze for 3,000 yen.  Pretty good!!  Apparently the bartender from the buffet is a reggae artist. So, it was good to get his photo as well.  After dinner we walked around to see the lights and we walked by a couple who just got married.  I thought it would be a perfect photo opportunity.  They were great sports.  Thank you so much for participating!  Congratulations on your marriage!!
