I met up with a fellow newbie to the city.  Unfortunately we didnt have that much time to walk around the place, but it was good to just chat for a lil bit.  Then the next day I walked around with my friend and then I went to the CS meeting at night.  This time I was more awake and felt in better form to socialize with people.  When I went last week, I had just arrived the previous day- feeling tired and a bit sick.  It was great to meet a lot of you guys.  Thanks for participating!  For those I didnt get a picture of because I was in a hurry to catch the last metro, I will get your picture next week! For the weekend my amazing friends took me to the beach.  I felt so much more at home.  Santiago can be a bit overwhelming, so visiting was the beach was great.  I got to meet some of my friends family.  They were all so very nice.  Thanks for participating!

cs meeting in santiago, chile

I have now made my big move to Chile.  I have wanted to live on all the livable continents and South America was my last one, so here I am.  Whenever I go to a new city, I like to check out the couchsurfing meetings.  Unfortunately, since I had just arrived to Santiago the day before, I was very tired.  I wasn't able to socialize as much as possible.  I was able to get a couple of pictures, but next time I go I will get many more pictures.  Thanks to those who participated!
