night time volleyball

I was able to find a place near Shelly beach. It's so nice because now it takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the beach from my place now. My housemate had a couchsurfer stay at the place. At night we went to the beach to play some volleyball and met a group that was near the volleyball courts. I was able to get a lot of photos because of them. I definitely would like to play some more volleyball at the beach. It was a nice and relaxing night.

walk from manly to curl curl

One of my favorite walks in Manly is from Manly to North Curl Curl. Since I did those walks so much I remembered all the little secrets on the walk. In particular there is one place that is an amazing place to take pics from. It looks like you are sitting on a very thin rock just above the water. If you walk onto the rock from one side it doesn't look to bad, but for the photographer it looks pretty scary. Because I did the walk by myself, I needed some help to get the photos done for me. I saw some ladies close to the spot and asked them for help. They were kind enough to help out. Thanks ladies!!

chilled out friday

I have been lucky enough that some of the friends I had last time I lived in Manly are still here. I was able to meet my friend's new friends and of course become friends with them now. We had a wonderful salmon dinner courtesy of a kind friend who cooked for all of us. It was a very nice and relaxing friday.

back in australia

My first day back to Australia I had to get a phone and get a bit situated. The next day, I immediately went to the beach so that I could snorkel. It was wonderful to be back in the water and see all the beautiful sea life. It was strange though. From all the times I went snorkeling last time I was in Australia, I probably saw only 3 or 4 sting rays for the entire year. My first day out this time around, I saw 4 sting rays. After I saw the forth, I decided it was time to get out of the water. It just didn't feel right. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see the port jackson shark that I normally saw 2.5 years ago. Hopefully I'll be able to see it soon!
