meeting cs people in prague

On the 12th of June, I went to the seafood festival with another couchsurfer. It was a pretty good festival with lots of good food and great live music. Then on Saturday I went with a friend, whom i met 3.5 years ago at a couchsurfing event, to meet one of her couchsurfing friends. Then at night we went to the weekly saturday couchsurfing event at a bar. It was pretty cool and I was able to meet a lot of new people. It was a great night and it was so nice to be in Prague for the entire weekend instead of just being in the village.

Romčo's 5th birthday party

My cousin's son had his 5th birthday party this past weekend. I made some brigaderos, a brazilian dessert, and a pinata for the kids to play with. However, pinatas are an unknown thing here in the village so the kids had no idea that there was candy inside the thing that they were hitting. It was quite funny to see how confused and excited they were once they saw all the candy come out of the pinata. The weather was nice and the kids had a fun time. It was a great day for a birthday party.

walk around prague

I had some free time on Friday so i decided to show some people around the city. It is such a nice city to walk around in because there are so many small streets and places that only locals really know of. The weather was much better than expected so it was nice to just go for a relaxing walk.

Tuesday Toast Couchsurfing Event Prague, Czech Republic

Everytime I am in Prague and there is a couchsurfing meeting/event going on, I always try to go to them. The Tuesday Toast is a unique event where the organizer picks a new pub to go to every week. I have been to several of the events in the past, so it was great to go to to the meeting earlier this week and see some familiar faces. Unfortunately I wasn't able to stay that long because I had to go back to my grandma's village. Thanks to those who were nice enough to participate in my blog. See you next time!
