All day in SF (CA, USA)

The weather was so nice that I wanted to take advantage of the fact that I could get a nice clear photo of the Golden Gate bridge.  I started the day with going right next to the Golden Gate to take photos.  Then my friend and I walked a bit around the area and then went to the foresty area.  Then my friend had to go so I continued on and walked to Japan town.  It was really interesting to see and the area was bigger than I expected.  I was quite surprised with the Japanese writing for the street names. Then I just walked around and found my way to the Painted Sisters.  The view was really nice from there.  Then I met with a couchsurfer and did some more walking.  I got to see City Hall with nice colors on the building and then had a taco made from a vendor on the street.  It was good, but the pupusa (traditional food from El Salvador) I had afterward was absolutely amazing.  The lady in the take-out place had to make it from scratch and it was so good. I was lucky that I saw the sign from the corner of my eye advertising pupusa in a Taco place.  Afterwards I met up with my friend again and her friend at a Jazz bar.  It was a nice way to end a very busy day of exploring.

Gaucho Reunion (CA, USA)

Earlier this year I was able to have a reunion with one of my university tennis teammates.  I had no idea that I would be able to make another Gaucho reunion happen later in the year.  It has been either 11 or 12 years since I have seen Charlotte.  It was so great to hang out and catch each other up on our lives.  Let's not wait another 11 or 12 years for the next reunion!!  Go Gauchos!!

1st day in SF (California, USA)

It's been a while since I have been to San Fransisco, so when my friend told me that I could stay with her in Oakland for New Years, I decided to go.  I was able to find a ticket with Alaska Airlines for $100 r/t from LA to SF.  The only problem was that the flight was quite early.  I had to leave my house at 3am.  Luckily my mom was a good sport and took me to the airport.  Once I arrived to SF my friend was waiting for me so we went back to her place in Oakland to drop off my stuff.  Then we went into SF to meet with a friend that I hadn't seen since the first time I lived in Australia in 2012.  We have tried several times to meet up since then, but haven't been able to.  It was so nice that she was able to come to SF from Sacramento with her sister to meet up with me for the day.  We had fun exploring the city and catching each other up on our lives.  Let's not wait another 6 years for the next reunion!  Great seeing you Holicita!!

Back at home (California, USA)

Every time I go back to my hometown I act like a tourist. For the holidays I was able to go home for a couple of weeks and really enjoy the beauty and weather. For some reason the pictures are all out of order, but you can still see the beauty of my hometown. Basically all the pictures in this post are nature and food.  Its always good to go back home and see family.
