St. Martin's Day is supposed to be with snow, but I think it's been a very long time since that has happened. Leoš likes to get goose for the occasion, so we always just go to a restaurant for it. There is no way I would cook a goose. We checked several different restaurants, but we decided to go to the same restaurant we went to last year. This year I was able to get goose breast and it was super gamey. It was nice to try, but I do not know if I will get it again next year.
Normally for Halloween I would do something related to Halloween, but Leoš found an event at Vrtba Garden. The garden is usually closed at night, but once or twice a year they light up the garden. The colors were beautiful and the views of the castle were really nice. It was a pleasant surprise and I am glad that we went to the garden.
Last year was the first time I went to a GGI Prague Halloween event. I had a great time and met some wonderful women, so I decided I needed to go again this year. There was a lot of delicious food and everyone was so nice. We had lots of nice discussions and filled our bellies with yummy food. Everyone had great costumes. It was a nice event and I am happy that I went again this year. It was great to meet you all. Hope to see you at the cookie event in December!
