Amaya's 1st Birthday!!!!!!

For Amaya's birthday I decided to make her a chocolate cake.  I didn't add any sugar or bananas for sweetness, just applesauce I made prior and it was really nice.  She enjoyed her cake and it was the first time she had something chocolatey. A few days later her grandparents brought a beautiful cake, but she wasn't able to eat it because of all the sugar in it.  Leos and I enjoyed it instead!  On the day of her birthday we were thinking of taking her to the zoo, but instead decided to take a trip to Germany.  We went to Baumwipfelpfad Bavarian Forest.  There was a 44 meter egg shaped tower that had panoramic views and an easy walking path (1,100 meters long). The weather wasn't the best, but it was totally fine because it meant there weren't that many visitors.  At some points during the day we were completely by ourselves in the huge tower.  The treetop walk on the way to the tower was pretty great as well.  It was a great way to be in nature and experience something completely new with her. For dinner we went to a farm restaurant and it was absolutely fantastic.  Amaya wasn't the biggest fan of the waitress,  but the food was great!  It was a nice way to spend her birthday!  Happy 1st birthday Amaya!!
