The cooking class for April was A Taste of Denmark: With a Mother's Touch. The cook's mother was visiting her in Prague for a few days, so she graciously decided to join the class. There were a few ingredients that were bought in Denmark, so it was really special that we were able to enjoy them. Everything tasted great! It was so nice to start with a flaky creamy appetizer, next on to a hearty meal and to finish it off with a delicious dessert. A big thanks to Helena for the class, Jerry for hosting and everyone else for participating, having great chats and the clean up!
After the class, I went to a Hanami event. It was so crowded and I was truly shocked with the amount of people that were there because I knew of another Hanami event that was also happening. I guess Japanese events are becoming quite popular in Prague! I was so happy that I was incredibly full from the class because the lines for food were so long!!! I saw one of Amaya's friends from a baby class she goes to and the mother told me that just to get a rice ball was an hour wait. I had some cake with me from the class that I offered her and she was really happy. It was quite funny going to a Japanese event with Danish food! Looking forward to the next class!
