Les Elephants Bizarres concert-----Bucharest, Romania

I decided to fly to Bucharest for 2 days to visit the band and talk about the song that they are going to make for me. Luckily while I was there they had a concert. Immediately after my friend picked me up from the airport we went to his daughter's preschool Christmas party. The first song the kids sang was in English. I was impressed. After the Christmas party we went to the bar/club in which the concert was at. It was such a great concert with some awesome Romanian bands. These guys know how to party. We got back at 8am. Best night I've had this year. Thanks guys for an awesome concert and night!!!! Can't wait for the song!!!

Couch surfing meeting in Praha

Everytime I go to Praha I always make it a point to go to a couch surfing meeting because my idea for my blog seemed from when I lived in Praha and was going to couch surfing meetings. This time around I decided to go to the Tuesday Toast, in which the event takes place at a different pub every Tuesday. Thanks to those who participated!

babicka's 90th birthday

It's been a while since I posted on my blog. This is due to the fact that I was traveling. I was in the Czech Republic for my grandma's 90th birthday and didn't bring my laptop. We celebrated her 90th at the local pub in the village, Strain, that she lives in. She is the oldest woman in the village and is the only woman who has made it to the age of 90. She is still very strong and stubborn and living by herself. She still cuts wood for the stove. Crazy, strong lady. Happy Birthday Babicka!

After nine months, I decided to go home for a hot second because in less than 2 days my parents and I will be going to the Czech Republic for my grandma's birthday. While in Chile, I only met one person from the Czech Republic. While sitting at the departure gate with my headphones on, I thought I heard the people sitting directly in front of me speaking Czech. I listened a little bit more because I was a bit confused, but then I saw a Billa bag and the passport, so those clues confirmed what I thought was true. I didn't think I was going to take anyone's photo while I was traveling, but for this moment, I just had to. It was the universe's way of showing me that its time for me to go to the Czech Republic. Plus the person sitting next to me on the plane was going go to a city in Japan that is very close to where I lived last year. It was quite trippy. Thanks to those who participated!!
