Fishing on Christmas Eve

My father goes fishing at least twice a week, so whenever I am back at home I try to go at least once with him. The weather has been beautiful since I have been back home so I decided to go with him today. It was such a wonderful day. I was able to catch my first yellow tail tuna. I had quite a fight with the fish. It took me like 20 minutes to get the damn fish up. I ALMOST got the jackpot fish.....i just lost by a couple of ounces. We even got to see a couple of whales and a dolphin. It was a perfect day. The boat caught 21 yellow tails. They have never had a Christmas eve like today. Everyone on the boat was really nice and it was great to talk with you guys. Thanks to those who participated!!! See ya next time I go fishing!!

Praha--------> Los Angeles

Just before Christmas carps are sold on the streets in Praha because for Christmas everyone eats fish. Plus Christmas is more celebrated on the 24th instead of the 25th. On my last day I went to a great contemporary museum because my friend works there. I was able to see a lot of great exhibits. Then I flew from Praha to Moscow. In Moscow I had a terrible 8 hour layover. Luckily I met some really nice people and it made the time go by much faster. Then I got on the plane and I was ready to pass out, however I couldn't because something was wrong with the plane and everyone had to get off. We all had to wait another 2 hours, so all in all I had a 10 hour layover. Once we landed in Los Angeles our gate was occupied so we had to wait another 30 minutes. Lets just say I was VERY VERY happy once I got home. Too much traveling!! I'll be home for 5 days and then I'm going back to Santiago. Gotta make these days count!!!

last days in Praha

While walking around Praha I saw that people were making their own coins. Of course I had to do this. It was cool because you choose what design you want on your coin and they give you the templates and the giant hammer. Now I have my own Praha coin. My friends and I went to a club where another friend was having a concert. It was a lot of fun. Thanks to those who participated!

For my second night in Bucharest, my friend had a party at his house. I got to eat some traditional Romanian food and drink some traditional Romanian liquor. It was a great chill night after such a crazy night the day before. It was nice meeting everyone! The next day a taxi to the airport. The taxi driver who was a gypsy taught me some words, but at the end of the ride he took some extra money from my change and said it was for good luck. I told him that he needed to give me the correct amount of change and he just smiled, shook my hand and said with a smile good luck. Of course I had to have a gypsy story from Romania, haha!
