Air France wanted to charge me for the bassinet for Amaya, but I was able to argue the fact that KLM gave us the bassinet for free. The representative told me that if there were any seats available 30 hours before the flight and I checked in at that time, then I could get the bassinet for free. However, Leos checked a few days before our flight and I was already given one seat in the bassinet area. Leos was given the seat behind me. Luckily, no one ended up sitting next to Leos so we had an extra seat. Amaya slept a lot more on this flight. She even got a little present from the flight attendant. However, we were unpleasantly surprised when we had a 4 hour layover in Paris and they didn't give us the stroller at the gate. It was terrible! After the layover we just had our flight to Prague which wasn't bad. BUT, when we arrived to Prague, Leos's suitcase didn't arrive!!! Plus it was -13C when we landed. It was soooooo cold! When we got back to the apartment it was very cold and the water was shut off. It was a terrible welcome back. Early the next morning we had a plumber come and in the afternoon Leos got his suitcase, so at least a few things got fixed pretty quickly. It took about two days for the apartment to get comfortable though. And it took two weeks for Amaya to get over the jetlag. That was probably the worst part, but we had a WONDERFUL time on our holiday. Amaya really enjoyed the beach and seeing her grandparents.
