I went to see some family friends after the New Year. It was great timing because my mom's friend's daughter and her family would still be there! We have known this family since I was a baby! They had a wonderful time meeting Amaya. Everyone wanted to hold Amaya. At first Amaya was a bit overwhelmed because everyone was looking at her and there were not other babies in sight. Once she calmed down she had a wonderful time going from person to person. Afterwards, we went to the same donut shop we went to the day we visited the San Clemente pier because it was close by. The owner again gave us a free donut with our order. And once again it did not disappoint! For lunch we had to get In n Out again since that was the plan for the day. I was supposed to meet a friend from University, but she messaged last minute that wasn't feeling well. We didn't want to chance it, so we had to cancel the meet up which was a shame. Oh well, next time!
