Fort Lauderdale (Leif Soreide)

We started the day by walking around the area of our accommodation and then made our way to Hugh Taylor Birch State Park.  It was really nice walking there to see the freshwater lagoon and mangroves.  Unfortunately, the only wildlife we saw was a squirrel in a tree.  We saw more wildlife on the roads then in the State Park.  The trees were really impressive and it was nice to be in the middle of nature. In the evening we had an amazing night planned for us.  Leos has been in contact with a really good trader name Leif Soreide, who has his own trading platform, for several months now.  I'm not exactly sure how their friendship started but they kept in contact with each other quite often because they trade stocks in a similar way. Since we were already going to be in Leif's area in Florida, I told Leos that he should tell Leif we would be there.  Once Leos did, Leif was ready to make plans for us all to meet.  Leif and his wife, Samantha, picked us up and took us to a bar with a really nice view of Fort Lauderdale.  Then they took us to Runway 84, which was an AMAZING restaurant.  It wasn't in the main area, but it was completely full on a Thursday night.  I was amazed to see all the people in there.  Its a very popular place in Fort Lauderdale and luckily Leif and Samantha had contacts in the restaurant because we got a really nice table.  We had the best table in the restaurant.  The musicians were right in front of us and our table was a bit elevated from the main floor.  The food portions were HUGE!!! Everything we got was absolutely delicious.  I decided to let Samantha choose what to get because they were familiar with the menu.  Leos and Leif talked about stocks and Samantha and I got to talk about traveling.  It was such a fun night.  After dinner, they took us to a very popular bar in Fort Lauderdale.  They told us that we couldn't leave the area without going to the iconic bar, Elbo Room.  It reminded me of university.  Samantha was so nice and got Leos a shirt from the bar.  It was such a fun night out.  Thank you so very much Leif and Samantha for your hospitality and company.  We had an amazing night with you!  Now you'll need to visit us in Praha!!!
