The traffic in Miami is absolutely unreal. It was so bad. We couldn't believe how long it took us to go such a short distance. There were so many cars everywhere. I have never dealt with that kind of traffic in the streets of Los Angeles. When you are on the freeway in Los Angeles, there is definitely traffic, but not sooo much on just normal streets of the city. We just wanted to get to the beach already! Finally we made it to Ocean Drive and went to South Beach. The light sand and turquoise waters were really beautiful. Unfortunately, it was still quite windy and not warm enough to go inside the water. We sat on the beach for a while and then decided to grab a small bite to eat. We came across a sandwich place that had great ratings and for good reason. The sauce they use for the sandwich is unreal. It was so good! We walked a bit more and then made our way to Bayside. We tried to find a good restaurant, but unfortunately the let down of the trip when it came to food was our dinner this evening. We saw a huge candy store after dinner, but decided not to get anything. It was nice to have finally been to Miami beach. Hopefully, next time we go we can actually go inside the water!!
