Leos and I had a bit of jet lag, so we woke up quite early. The good thing, is that we were able to watch the sunrise. It was the only day where there was a totally clear sunrise. It was so nice to be able to watch it from the comfort of our accommodation. After breakfast, we walked to Barefoot Landing and then made our way to Broadway at the Beach. It was so empty and felt very deserted! We decided to make our way to the beach instead. Then we went to lunch with a guy Leos messaged online, Mike. He brought his 2 kids and a friend. Everyone was so nice. It was so great that Leos got to meet some people from the trading world. After lunch everyone parted ways, so Leos and I went to the boardwalk at the beach. Again, it was so empty. It was so strange to see such a popular place really empty. We decided to walk on the beach and start from one pier and walk along the beach. For dinner, we met up with a LOT more traders. There were about 20 of us at dinner. I should've gotten a group photo, but I forgot to ask the waiter. Luckily, there was also another wife who didn't trade, so I got to speak with her. Leos was in his element and a lot of people were happy to meet him. The food was great and so was the company. After dinner, everyone called it a night because the gala (the reason we went to Myrtle Beach) was the next day. It was a completely full first day in Myrtle Beach.
