The main reason Leos and I went to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina was for the 2025 Gala. Leos had some chats online and through messenger with other traders, but the Gala gave him an opportunity to speak with a lot of traders in person. There isn't really a trading community in the Czech Republic, so it was really good for Leos to meet people he could discuss trading with. I , of course, didn't attend the Gala, so I decided to make myself busy for the day. In the morning, I was surprised to see dolphins from the balcony. First, I saw one and then an hour later I saw two swimming together. It was really cool. They were so close to shore. I never thought I would be able to see dolphins from the comfort of my accommodation. Barefoot Landing was just a 20 minute walk from where we stayed, so I made my way over there by foot. It was so shocking to see how empty the area was. Every time I went into a store, I was either the only one there or max another 4 people were in the store at the same time. I didn't really like going into the stores by myself, so I decided to not go into that many. I walked a bit more in the area and came across a Trump Superstore and an Amish store pretty close by. It was interesting to see. While I was seeing some strange things, Leos had a wonderful time at the Gala. He got to meet Mark Minervini and Stan Weinstein. Two people he has looked up to for a while when it comes to stocks. He had a great time and I am happy that he got to meet so many people.
