Vyhlidka Maj and Na Vrchovnici (CZ)

The weather wasn't the best on the public holiday, but I still wanted to go somewhere.  Luckily my friend has a list of places to check out in Czech Republic. She found a place that wasn't too far outside of Prague, so we went there.  The views of the Vltava were so nice!  Luckily there weren't as many people as there normally is. Afterwards we were able to find a cafe and get a coffee and dessert.  It was a nice day.  The next day, my boyfriend and I went to a different look out point for the Vltava.  This time there wasn't anyone besides ourselves.  First, we went to the wrong spot and couldn't get a nice view.  Then we found a path that led up to the area and then we had to trek in the forest to find the perfect location.  The only people we saw were the people down at the river.  It was such a nice find.  In the past two days I was able to truly enjoy the beauty of the Vltava and I even listened to Smetana's song inspired by the river while I was looking at it.  It was very nice.

Ceska Kanada and Divoka Sarka (CZ)

Last weekend we decided to go to Ceska Kanada and Divoka Sarka.  The weather was beautiful so we had to take advantage of it.  Ceska Kanada is a big area, so we had to figure out what we wanted to see in the area.  We checked out the main sights for the area, and I found something I wanted to see, The Devil's Ass.  It is a rock that looks like a butt.  It was so funny, that I definitely wanted to check it out.  We went on the paths to the rock and when we got to the rock, sure enough, it looked like a butt.  After the rock we walked all around and were able to enjoy the beautiful autumn colors.  Unfortunately I forgot my glasses and couldn't take a photo of the waterman wearing them, oh well.  The views were so nice and there were lots of nice reflections from the ponds.   We wanted to go up the look out tower, but it was closed due to coronavirus.  For dinner I finally made something that I have been wanting to make for a while, Vietnamese summer rolls.  They turned out delicious.  The next day I made carrot top pesto and it turned out amazing.  After I finished cooking, we went to Divoka Sarka.  The last time we went there was 4 months ago and the colors were very different this time around.  It was a weekend full of beautiful autumn colors. Křivoklát and Lány (CZ)

A couple weekends ago we decided to travel to Krivoklat to check out the castle.  Little did we know that the castle surroundings would be closed.  We were expecting that the castle would be closed, but not the surroundings. However, I was able to take a couple nice photos of the castle.  Then we decided to walk in the nature area near the castle.  It was a nice walk and I was able to get a squirrel to wear my glasses.  Afterwards we went to Lany, but of course that was closed too.  Again we just walked the surroundings of the area.  On our way back to Praha we saw a llama farm and stopped for a bit to feed the llamas.  They were so cute.  It was a nice day.
