Czech Festival (Tokyo, Japan)

I was looking for events in Tokyo for the weekend and I stumbled across information for a Czech Festival.  I just came to Japan last week from the Czech Republic, so it was perfect timing.  Of course I had to CZECH it out.  Everyone was super nice and I was able to get some great pictures.  I also got to try on some Czech dance clothes.  My first time trying on Czech dance clothes had to be at a Czech Festival in Japan!  I had a great time and my friend was able to try Czech beer.  Of course I chose not to eat or drink anything at the festival because I know the real prices and enjoyed all the food last week.

Work Orientation day 2! (tokyo, japan)

I'm back in Japan!  This time around, I decided that I wanted to work full time at a university instead of the previous position I had.  The new position required two days worth of orientation.  The second day went by quick, thank goodness.  There are just 10 of us with the same job and we got to leave an hour earlier than everyone else because of what we had to go through the day before.  We went to Canal Cafe, a place where everyone goes to after orientation.  It was a beautiful night and it was so comfortable sitting outside enjoying some drinks.  Let's have a good semester!  Cheers!

Mexican Independence Day (Prague, CZ)

A good friend of mine told me about a Mexican Independence Day event in Prague.  Apparently the event also happened last year and it was pretty big.  I had no idea.  Since my friend was going to do some stand up comedy in Spanish at the event, I decided to go.  They closed the entire street for the day.  There were lots of vendors and everyone was having a great time.  Viva Mexico!
