Kutna Hora, Czech Republic

My father's coworker and a friend of mine are visiting me in the Czech Republic, so of course I had to take them to one of the most visited sites, Kutna Hora.  It was a beautiful day and there weren't that many tourists.  We were able to walk around Kutna Hora and take in all the beautiful sites.  The only area where it was super crowded was the bone church.  Since I have been in that place several times I decided to just wait outside.  However it was the first time that I saw that they were looking for other bones and we were lucky enough to see what they had uncovered.  It was really interesting.  Then at night we went to the local pub in the village to enjoy some live music and drinks.  It was a great day!

Friends' Housewarming Party (Prague, Czech Republic)

My friends had moved to a new apartment and decided to have a house warming party to invite their friends to check out the new place.  The apartment is in a great location and very spacious.  It was a fun night of snacks and drinks. Thanks for hosting and thanks to those who participated in my blog.

Couchsurfing Meeting Edinburgh, Scotland

I have been to several couchsurfing meetings around the world, so I wanted to check out what a CS meeting would be like in Edinburgh.  It was the first time that at a CS meeting there wasn't a person from the country represented.  Most of the people I met were nice, that's all I'll say.  Since this is the last post from my trip in Scotland I would just like to mention what a wonderful time I had.  The weather was really beautiful, I truly got lucky.  I even got a tan line from the one and only day I forgot to put on sunscreen!   There were so many interesting and beautiful sights, plus I got to eat some great food.  Edinburgh is a place I would like to go to again.  Until next time!

Walking tour Edinburgh, Scotland

I happened to find a free walking tour as I was walking up the Royal Mile.  They were about to start, so I decided to join in.  The tour guide, Paula, was from the United States, but her mother is Scottish and her father is Puerto Rican.  She gave us a LOT of information and did a wonderful job guiding us.  We didn't get to see as many things as I had hoped for, but I learned a lot which was great.  I met some nice girls on the tour so we decided to go to the castle and walk up Arthur's seat together.  From all the five days I was in Scotland, it only rained for an hour on the day of the walking tour.  The weather was really really great.  The day of the walking tour was such a great day!
