Day 6 Boat Trip

On our last full day in Albania, we decided to go on a boat trip.  We stopped in 4 different places and I got to snorkel quite a bit.  The beach location was nice because we got to relax for a few hours.  The last stop was the BEST for snorkeling, but not too many people on the boat went into the water because they were too tired.  I got to see some great sea creatures.  I saw several starfish, both small ones and big ones.  I saw an octopus and some large crabs.  I wish I brought my gopro on the trip to capture some of the underwater creatures I saw, but I didn't.  Leoš and I didn't want that big of a meal, so we just went to a fast food place we went to in the beginning of our trip.  It was a great last full day in Albania.  (Pictures are not in order)

Day 5 Monastery of 40 Saints

I noticed rain in the forecast, so I thought it would be best for us to just stay in the city and go to some restaurants.  While walking to our breakfast spot it started to rain really hard. We had time to really enjoy our breakfast and when the weather got better, we decided to go back to the hidden beach we found.  It rained on and off, so I looked around the beach for things I could make a shelter with.  Since I was able to make a shelter to protect our stuff, we were able to stay at the beach longer than others.  After the beach we decided to make our way up to the monastery to get a nice view of the city.  Once there we were surprised with an entrance fee, but since we walked all the way up the hill, we needed to just pay to get in.  The views were quite nice and it was really interesting to walk all around the monastery.  We even walked inside which was a bit creepy because there weren't any lights inside.  We had to use the light on our cell phones to guide us the way inside.  It was really cool being able to walk inside and see everything.  Then we went for a nice seafood dinner.  Despite the rain we had a great day.
