April 26th
Today was a beautiful day, so I went to Freshwater to meet up with my friends and go to the beach. Afterwards we cooked some food and then I had to go to work. Work was not nearly as busy as it was on Thursday night. On Thursday (ANZAC day) we were busy the WHOLE night, non stop and we didnt have enough people working, but all the customers were very understanding.. Tonight was a quiet night and I wasn't going to take any photos until the original owner of Manly Italian suggested that I take a photo of his friend wearing my glasses. Beach day
After the horrible weather on Saturday, the weather has been so nice. I decided to go snorkeling, but the visibility was not good at all! At least I was able to swim a lot and not freeze. My friends met me at Shelly and we enjoyed a nice bbq. I plan on going to the beach almost everyday with this beautiful weather because I know that the weather will change soon and swimming in the water won't be an option anymore. A Day at the Bay
It was so nice to be able to enjoy beautiful weather on Sunday because the weather on Saturday was so bad. My friend is part of a group called Friends of Cabbage Tree Reserve and she told me on an event they were having at Shelly Beach called a Day at the Bay. It was the perfect day to enjoy. Unfortunately because of the storms yesterday we weren't able to go snorkeling. There was information for people get about the reserve, a chance to see some sea urchins up close, and live music. After the beach I went straight to work and it wasnt as busy as the past couple of Sundays have been. Thanks to everyone who participated.
