Blueberry Picking CZ

Just a few days after getting back from Italy, my friend and I went blueberry picking.  I had gone last year and enjoyed it so much that I had to go again.  We were able to take a tram and bus to get to the blueberry field.  It cost 170czk/kg if you picked it yourself, plus of course you were able to eat as much as you could while picking them.  We each picked just a bit more than 4kg.  The blueberries were DELICIOUS! I ate a LOT while picking them.  It was a nice way to spend the afternoon.  When we got back to Praha we went to a food festival that was happening on the waterfront.  It was a nice Saturday.

Last day in Bologna (last day in Italy)

My friend decided to go to Bologna with me, so we went together.  I was a bit worried with trains being delayed (I for sure didn't want to miss my plane), so we decided to take BlaBla car.  It took us a while to get to there, but we managed to get to the train station in Bologna.  When we arrived I noticed a free covid testing center (I had read about them beforehand).  I waited in line and got my free test.  It was the WORST most PAINFUL testing I have EVER had.  I am so thankful for the testings I've had in CZ.  After my testing was done we walked around the city and went for lunch and then gelato.  I managed to have gelato every day (besides the night I arrived).  We had to say our good byes and I was off to the airport. I took the express train to the airport and it was smooth sailing. I had a wonderful time on my last minute trip to Italy. I managed to do so many things, try lots of different foods, meet new people, make new friends and visit another country.  It was just for 5 days/nights but it felt a lot longer with all that I managed to do.  It was a wonderful trip!

Last Evenings in Rimini

After Ravenna my friend and I went to the beach to cool off from the heat.  Even though its not the best beach, it was fun to go in the water and cool off.  After the beach we went for food.  It was a good way to end the day.  The next day after I had finished my day trip in San Marino, I met with my friend and we went to the city center to meet with a friend of hers.  We went for some food and drinks and it was nice to just relax a bit.  Then I walked back to my accommodation, but before getting there I walked by the main bridge and saw a concert and light show.  It was quite nice, but I didn't stay long at all because I had to wake up early the next day.  It definitely helped having a friend in the city.

San Marino (Country #103)

Another reason why I wanted to go to Rimini is because I saw that it was quite close to San Marino.  I was able to get a bus for just 5 euros (one way) from Rimini to San Marino.  I got the bus at the main train station in Rimini and it took me all the way to the historical center of San Marino in less than an hour. There were no border checks and it was super easy to get there.  I really liked walking around San Marino.  The architecture was really nice and it felt very historic.  The views were so nice and it was fun exploring around.  Prices for jewelry were good because tax isn't included on things made in the country.   It was such a great day trip from Rimini, plus I got to add another country to my list :)
