Leoš and I finally went for our summer holiday. We found tickets to Corfu and then took a ferry to Sarande. The airport in Corfu was VERY close to the city center. It took us 30 minutes to walk to the ferry office from the airport. It was shockingly close. I do not think I have ever walked from an airport to the city in all the traveling I have done in my life. Once we got to the ferry office, we were informed that there was a ferry ready to go to Sarande. We rushed to the port and got on the ferry. It was a nice 1hour ride and we were able to escape the heat for a bit. Once we arrived to Sarande, we walked another 30 minutes to our accommodation. HOWEVER, the address on booking.com didn't match up and we ended up on a dead end street next to a hotel. Luckily, there was a nice worker who called our accommodation and directed us to the correct direction. Once we got to our accommodation I was DRIPPING with sweat. It was so hot!!!! We rested a bit in our accommodation and went to the center and enjoyed the beach for a little bit. In the evening we went to the music festival that was happening in the city. It was a very busy first day. (pictures are a bit out of order)
