For Mother's Day, we met up with my parents and went to the village. When we walked around the village we ran into a childhood friend of mine and my cousin's family. They were all surprised to see me out and about just 3.5 weeks after giving birth. Then we went to see the sheep and there were some lambs amongst them. It was a nice and relaxing way to spend my first mother's day.

Since Leos was still on paternity leave, we decided to go to Stromovka park again. We picked up lunch nearby and headed to the park. It was so much nicer this time around because it was a regular working day and the park wasn't that crowded. We found an area that had really beautiful flowers and I couldn't help but take a lot of photos.
Today was the first time since Amaya was born that I had food from a cafe. It needed to be take out, but I was totally fine with that. It was so nice to be able to get some food that I didn't have to make. I got a coupon from Slevomat from a bagel place. It hit the spot. Today marked the 80th anniversary of the end of WWII. We went to the Vitkov Statue and there were so many people in suits and there was a camera crew. When we got home, we were able to see the live event that happened inside the museum at Vitkov. There were a lot of military people getting awards and relatives of ones who served in the war. It was a nice day.
