Last night was the opening of Copa America. It is a football (soccer) competition between the countries in South America and invited teams, such as Jamaica and Mexico. I have never been in a country where the whole country will stop what they are doing in order to watch their team compete. My friends and I had to arrive to the bar early in order to get a good table. The atmosphere at the bar was crazy. The first half wasn't too good, but the second half was more exciting because Chile made 2 goals and ended up winning the game. I can't wait to see what the other games will be like.
