Halloween this year was very different. Usually I dress up and go to parties. However, in the Czech Republic we must respect social distancing so I spent the day hiking in Adrspach. It was a 3 hour drive from Prague. Luckily it had rained earlier in the day, so there weren't that many people in the area. It was great. We really didn't come across that many people. The signs saying the names of the different rocks were written in four languages: Czech, English, German and Polish. Apparently on a normal day there are lots of Polish tourists who enjoy the area. It really was the perfect day to go to the park. There were some areas that actually reminded me of Petra, Jordan. The rocks were so tall and they had narrow areas in which you could walk through. I really wish I had brought my Go-Pro to make some videos, but I forgot it. Since we must practice social distancing, I haven't been able to get any new faces for my blog. Instead, I have been putting the glasses on more statues. At the end of the day, we walked by the lake and enjoyed some really nice reflections. The sun had come out and the blue sky was gorgeous. It was truly a beautiful day. My boyfriend and I were able to make the most out of the days and enjoy nature. At night we lit our jack-o-lantern that actually fell and smashed into pieces because it was an off-balance pumpkin. I'm sure our pumpkin next year will be MUCH MUCH better than this year, haha. Then we watched a silly Halloween movie. I made pumpkin bread and pumpkin cheesecake that were absolutely delicious. I'm looking forward to next year when I will be able to watch a movie that my friend was in and was filmed in a warehouse in Prague. I hope everyone had a happy and safe Halloween.
