We woke up Saturday morning to snow. According to Czechs, the first snow should come on St. Martin's day which was just a week ago, so I guess the horse might have gotten a bit lost on its way. My parents saw the weather report that there was snow, so I woke up to a text message asking for pictures around the city in snow. Leoš and I were planning on just going to Naplavka for the farmer's market, but now I had a homework assignment. We decided to walk through Petrin first, then around the castle and finally made our way to the farmer's market. It was nice that we needed to go on a longer walk because the snow was beautiful. We got toast with pesto and hot wine. It was a great combination. Sunday was the opening day for the Christmas market at Namesti Miru. We had nothing else to do, so we made our way to the market. It was much better than it was last year. There were so many stalls and the prices for things were great. I am sure that we will go to this market a few more times this season.
