It's blueberry season again!! On Sunday, we went to one blue plantation just outside of Prague in Zdiby. We always get our blueberries there because they have the best blueberries and they are HUGE!! There were some that were the same size as a 10czk coin! On Monday, I went to Kunsthalle with a friend whose baby is just 2 weeks older than Amaya. Amaya was a bit fussy in the gallery and I had to hold her most of the time. I guess she just wanted to see the art as well. There were lots of nice paintings on the bottom two floors which were part of the "And We'll Never Be Parted" exhibition and the top floor, "The Call of the Forest" exhibition, had an interesting taxi cab installation. However, what impressed me the most was the tree stump that was made of pages from a years worth of the New York Times. After the exhibitions, my friend and I had lunch at the cafe. The soup was quite nice, but it took me a really long time to eat because Amaya was fussy again. Overall it was a great first gallery visit for her. As we were leaving Kunsthalle there were some very dark clouds. Within minutes the clouds opened up and there was a huge downpour. Luckily, I am always prepared and had the cover for the stroller and an umbrella for myself. It was a great way to spend the day.
