For Valentine's Day my boyfriend decided to surprise me with a day trip to Czech Switzerland. He found a place called Fairy Cave, which is a natural phenomenon that doesn't happen quite often (it didn't happen at all last year). Its where ice stalagmites connect from the roof of the cave to the bottom part of the cave. While walking around the national park we saw frozen waterfalls and icicles of varying colors. It was so amazing to see. The conditions on Sunday were perfect, two days later the weather has completely changed in CZ. In less than a week it has gone from well below 0 to 7+. The snow has completely melted and I no longer need to wear my heavy winter jacket which makes me quite happy! I couldn't help but take so many pictures around the park. There are lots of pictures and photos are out of order.
