Strahov Stadium

On Saturday morning Leos and I decided to go to the farmer's market in Dejvicka.  In order to go there we needed to take the bus from Strahov.  When we got to Strahov we noticed that the stadium was open and people were going in for an event. I had never been inside the stadium, so when we were coming back from the market I wanted to make sure we made a quick stop at the stadium.  Strahov stadium is the biggest stadium in the world (in terms of area).  It was made in 1926 and it commonly was used to show sokol, which are displays of synchronized gymnastics. It can fit 250,000 spectators (56,000 for seating) making it the largest modern stadium. It was nice to see another view of Praha as well. On Sunday I went to Leos's football game.  Once again the Prague Black Panthers were victorious.  It was a nice weekend.
