Laura and I decided to meet up on Thanksgiving and have something different for the day. We had ramen at a new place that recently opened in the Andel area. The food was good, but the service from one waiter was really bad. Luckily, there was another waitress who took care of the mistakes from the other guy. We were able to catch up on things and enjoy some nice food. It was a great way to spend Thanksgiving. The next day, Leos and I went to a restaurant that had a Thanksgiving special on their menu and I had to get it. The price was more than an average meal, but much cheaper than the other places in the city that also offered Thanksgiving specials. It came with a soup, main dish and dessert. The pumpkin soup was quite filling and quite flavorful. The main dish was the star of the show. The flavors were so good and I was quite surprised how they were able to get the Thanksgiving feel on a plate. It was really nice. The only downfall was the pumpkin/pecan muffin. It was so dry. Its fine though, the overall experience was quite nice and it was the most Thanksgivingy food I've had around Thanksgiving time in a really long time!
