Our first idea was to go to Mexico, but since it was a public holiday in Mexico it would take a LONG time to cross the border back into California. We thought it would be much better to visit Lake Elsinore instead. The drive there included a lot of windy roads. The view point for the lake was really nice. It was such a beautiful day, so we were excited to head back and hit the beach. However, once we got to Dana Point it was super foggy and the visibility was really bad. It was so strange how we went from perfect blue skies and warm weather to foggy, grey, cold and gloomy weather. We went to the beach and were shocked on how bad it was. Instead of trying to wait out the clouds, which actually didn't happen because it was cloudy all day, we decided to go shopping.
