Table at the Castle

In the summer of 2020 there was an event on the Charles Bridge for a farewell to covid. There were tables that started from one end of the bridge to the other. The rest of the world laughed at the event because it wasn't true at all.  Covid lasted a much longer time.  Anyways, the same organizers for the event on the Charles Bridge decided to make an event around the castle.  The concept was the same.  Everyone who decided to join should bring their own drinks and food to share with their neighbors.  The event on the bridge felt a bit more inclusive and open.  Plus there were a LOT more people who joined that event.  The event at the castle didn't have much advertisement, but nonetheless it was still nice.  The event started in the evening and there weren't many tourists around.  It felt like a lot of locals were there and there was a band playing some old Czech songs.  The atmosphere was nice, but the evening was a bit chilly. Leoš and I stayed for just an hour, but had a nice time.  The president joined the event much earlier.  Unfortunately I missed my opportunity to meet him.  Hopefully one of these days I'll be able to get him to wear my glasses!
