Day 11 Benitses

Leoš and I decided to visit Benitses for the day even though it was raining.  We still wanted the chance to explore another city.  As soon as we arrived to the beach town, we went to a nearby cafe.  I got a frappe and Leoš and I shared a crepe.  The frappe was the best I had on the trip.  It was so good!!  When the rain lessened, we walked around the area.  Then I looked at my map and found a water spring.  We followed the map and were the only ones on the path.  It was quite fun to explore an area where not that many people go to.  We walked on some paths that were not even on the map and then came to a church.  No one was there, but there was running water.  There was a bell, so I rung it.  After the church we walked back to the beach and waited for a bus to take us back to the town.  Once back in the town, we went for dinner and had the best meal of the trip.  The quality of the food was amazing and the service was very nice.  I would love to go back to the restaurant if we ever go back to Corfu.  It was a wonderful day of exploring and food, despite the bad weather. (pictures are out of order)
