Rooftop bbq
My friend had a bbq on his rooftop last night. There was delicious food and it was fun catching up with some friends and meeting some new faces. It was a nice and relaxed Friday night.

weekend of FOOD
To start off the weekend, I had my final visit for my root canal. I was so happy for it to be done, I asked my dentist for a photo, lol. The Nam food festival was going on this weekend, so my friends and I decided to check it out. The food was delicious and affordable. There was a lot of variety so it was great to try out a bunch of different stuff. On Sunday morning my friend and I decided to check out an art exhibition that was going on. It was Yayoi Kusama's Obsession of Infinity. It was pretty interesting. The rooms in which you could take photos in were really nice. Afterwards I decided to get lunch again with my friends at the food festival. It was definitely a weekend full of delicious food!

Vina del Mar
The weather was beautiful this past weekend, so it was a great time to go to vina. As soon as my friend and I arrived to Vina, we went to her favorite Mexican Restaurant. They had some pretty good food at decent prices. After lunch we headed to the Sheraton Miramar. The view from the hotel was gorgeous. To welcome us, the hotel gave us a free glass of champagne. It was wonderful way to welcome guests. The hotel had an outdoor pool, indoor pool, jacuzzi, steam bath and sauna. The food was also delicious. It was definitely a great and memorable weekend. I am sure I will go back to Vina very soon.

Shoe Market
A friend of mine whom I met on the ship going to Antartica is here in Santiago. I wanted to show him things that he probably hasn't seen before. So we rode our bikes to Bicentennial Park in Vitacura. Its one of my favorite parks in Santiago. They even have flamingos at the park! While walking around the park we came across a shoe fair. We wanted to go in just to check it out, but we had to pay around $8 to get in, so we decided to not to go. While taking photos of the giant shoe outside the main tent, I met some girls who just finished their shopping and they said it was really good inside. Maybe next time I will check it out.
