In the Czech Republic, November 17th is a public holiday. It was nice to have the day off of work in the middle of the week. We were finally able to check out a Vietnamese Restaurant I was curious about. It was on a small side street and had lots of great reviews. We got dishes that you normally can't get at a regular Vietnamese restaurant. After lunch we met with a friend and decided to check out a parade that was having its 10th anniversary this year. Many children and adults made some floats to bring awareness of different things going on in the world. We were lucky to see them up close before they started the parade. We wanted to see them walk across the Charles Bridge, so we made it there before them. On our way to the bridge we came across a stand that was handing out free glasses of wine. Of course we took a glass. It was nice to cheers to our 1.5 years together with free wine. Then we walked in the city center and watched a documentary about the Velvet Revolution. I was able to learn some facts that I wasn't aware of before. Then we watched a very SMALL drone show. It was a bit underwhelming. After that we went for a delicious dinner. It was a very packed fun day in the city.
