On Easter Sunday, Leoš and I ate a traditional cake in the shape of a lamb. It was quite simple and I was happy to buy it instead of making it. We left our accommodation and headed out to the next city on our trip, Strasbourgh. As we were leaving Colmar, we decided to make a quick stop at the round about where the Statue of Liberty replica was. I'm happy that we decided to stop at it on Sunday because the weather was beautiful. We took our photos and two hours later my mom sent me a photo of my dad in front of a replica of the Statue of Liberty. My parents are in Japan and they took the photos in Odaiba. It was so funny that both my father and I took photos in front of a Statue of Liberty on the same day and with the same blue skies. When Leoš and I got to Strasbourgh, we went to our hotel, Hotel Origami. Too bad there wasn't origami art inside the hotel, but the name was nice. We walked to the center of the city and it was much much bigger than Colmar. We walked around and enjoyed all the sights. There was an area where a boat had to go through a narrow canal and it was interesting to see how it had to wait for the water to rise. Then we watched a bridge that had to move to the side in order for the boat to pass. After a long day of walking all over the city, we went to a nice place for dinner and enjoyed some modern French food. It was a great last meal in France.
