miscommunication
So my housemate and I were looking for something and with total miscommunication we ended up somewhere else at a store that was selling something completely different. When we ended up at the store we were greeted by a man who was very excited to see us. He gave us samples of free chicha(young wine) which were delicious. Once we figured out that we were in the completely wrong store and that we had walked soooo far for the wrong thing, he gave us a free bunch of grapes for our walk back. He was so kind that of course I had to buy a liter of the wine.
