Vegas Baby!!

We had only 1 full day in Vegas and we wanted to make the most of it.  First we went back to Fremont street for brunch.  Then we took a free shuttle that took us to the Strat on the main strip.  While in the Strat we were lured into what happened to be a timeshare talk.  I put down a $60 deposit because we were gonna be given tickets for a Las Vegas show that night.  When we got to the location of the talk I found out the the show we wanted wasn't even happening that night.  I decided to call the whole thing off and wanted a refund.  Luckily we didn't have to listen to the 2 hour speech and got our refund.  We were told we would get the $60 back and $25 gift card for the transportation we took to get there.  I thought it wasn't much because we wasted a good amount of time, but it was better than nothing.  However, when we were getting our refund another lady took care of it for me.  She gave me the $60 back, 2 $25 gift cards for transportation, 2 $50 gift certificates for the tickets we should've gotten and a voucher for $100 to play on the slots.  So I put down $60.....got that back and in return got $150 plus $100 for gambling.  It was a great day!  We made our way back to the strip and walked the whole thing.  Of course at night the lights are much better in Vegas.  We watched the water fountain show at Belagio and then went to the casino where we had the $100 gambling voucher.  It was crap because the only way we could cash out is if we won the actual jackpot.  We spent an hour playing with the $100.  Then it was time to go to the Flamingo so I could use the $25 voucher we were given by the couple the night before. I cashed out the voucher and went to play roulette.  The table I went on required $20 a spin and the chips were $1 each.  I put the chips everywhere and the ball was jumping between a number I clearly had a chip on and another number.  It hit the other number but I had a chip on the corner so I got back 9 chips.  I needed $20 to play so I put $20 of my own.  I kept with the number I had before and waited for the spin.  It hit black 17 and I had all the corners covered so I got $72.  I walked away immediately with my winnings.  It was def a great day for me!!!  Next we went to the Ventian to look at the beauty inside the casino and then went to Circus Circus for a small show.  We ended the night by taking a bus from the Strat back to Downtown Vegas.  It was a LONG and GREAT day!!!
