No visit would be complete without a visit to the village. I wanted to show Tania my family's home and the 200 year old basement. It was nice to get out of the city for a day and enjoy the nature that surrounds the village. While walking in the forest Tania found a bunch of plants that she had learned about but had never seen in nature. We went to Jurecek for a nice dinner and the next day we went to the forest to pick some wild blueberries. The tiny berries stained our hands quite nicely. It would be nice to make a lipstick with the color of the tiny berry. After picking the berries we biked back to the house and took a free shuttle to the neighboring city. Then we took a train to Praha. We went to Samurai Shot so Tania could buy some gifts. While there the owner gave us a free ice tea to share. Then we walked to Stromovka park so Leoš could pick us up. While waiting, a lady asked if we wanted a free beer. Of course we said yes, then she gave us 3 more. Then her colleague gave us 2 more, so we ended up with 6 free beers. It was very random, but I think it was the end of the day for their promotion job and they just wanted to get rid of the left over beer. It was very random, but great!
