Whakarewarewa Thermal Village, New Zealand

I went to visit a thermal village and it was surreal.  I couldn't believe that there were people living in such an active geothermal place.  The smells were a bit to get used to.  I even tried the corn that was made in the thermal waters.  It was quite nice.  After walking around the village and getting a tour of the place, we were able to watch some traditional maori dancing.  It was really cool to watch.  I had a wonderful time in the village.
