Balkan Cooking Class (Prague, CZ)

Yesterday I was in charge of organizing a cooking class. This cooking class was for Balkan food and we got to eat 6 different Balkan foods. Everything was so delicious and everyone had a great time. We got to learn how difficult and time consuming it is to make banica. It was great and I am looking forward to organizing the next cooking class.

Picnic (Prague, Czech Republic)

The weather last Saturday was very rainy and not that pleasant. Luckily on Sunday the weather was great! There was a picnic organized on the "island" in Prague, so I had to go. There were wonderful people and I had a good time. It was nice to meet you all! Hopefully we'll be able to do it again!

Last day in Zurich, Switzerland

The last day I was in Zurich, it rained a LOT!!!! Luckily it mainly rained in the morning and then it was fine for most of the day. The first thing I did was go to a Swatch store on the main road. I bought my first Swatch. The watch doesn't need batteries, it works on movement. The only time i would need to wind it up is if I do not have it on my wrist for more than 48 hours. Then I had to go to a chocolate shop to try the dessert my friend got the day before. It was amazing!!! So yummy! Then I went to a store where they sell items people forgot on public transportation. Considering the items for the store were free, the prices were ridiculously expensive. I couldn't believe all the things people have forgotten on pubic transport and the fact that they sell the items! Then I walked by the lake to relax and found a Chinese garden. At the end of the day it was time to say bye to my friends. I took a bus at 1:30am that arrived to Prague at 11am. It was a long bus ride, but it was easy and comfortable to get back home.

Catching up with a friend (Zurich, Switzerland)

To start the day, my friend and I walked on Bahnhofstrasse, deemed as one of the most expensive streets in the world. There were so many expensive name branded stores. Then we made it to the meeting point for the Free Walking tour (for the center of Zurich). The guide this time was much more outgoing and there was a much better feel to the tour than the day before. There were sooo many people on the tour, so it was a bit hectic. However, there were so many nice views. The tour didn't end on time, so I had to rush off to meet my friend for lunch. It's crazy, but I hadn't seen this friend in 15 years!!! He looked pretty much the same, but just now with facial hair. We met in university because he was studying abroad in California for a year. We kept in touch here and there, but have never been able to meet up. It was so great to catch up on each other's lives. After lunch he needed to go back to work and I swam in the lake. The weather was so nice again, that I had to take advantage of it and swim. Then I walked around a bit and for dinner I had amazing raclette. It was delicious!!
