For our summer holiday together we wanted to go somewhere tropical, but all the places we were looking into had a LOT of restrictions. We figured it would be best to stay in Europe this summer. We both hadn't been to Cyprus, so we thought it would be the perfect choice. Landing in Cyprus was a nightmare. The plane was delayed and once we got off the bus from the airplane, we weren't allowed into the airport. It was 1am and we were all stuck outside of the airport. The airport staff were thinking about randomly testing all of us, which didn't make any sense because CZ is a green country. There were lots of arguments back and forth and then they finally made us go back on the bus and took us to passport control. We got to our accommodation after 2am. The next morning we walked to the beach to enjoy the hot weather. In the afternoon we were lucky enough to meet up with a local who gave us so much great advice for our trip in Cyprus. Her recommendations really helped us out A LOT. The next day we picked up our rental car and headed to the salt flats in Larnaca. It was so hot out, but of course we had to go on the flats and take pictures.
