We finally arrived in Gambia 12 hours later than expected. It was so good to see that we actually got to our destination. The 12-hour delay didn't make too much of a difference in our plans, so in the end it was fine. We made our way to Farato village. We had lunch and then decided to head off to the craft market. We were the ONLY tourists there so of course every vendor wanted us to go into their shops. I decided on a bracelet and a keychain. Afterwards we decided to go to a nature reserve. The entrance was just 35 dalasi (a bit more than 50cents). Since it was still the rainy season, there were a lot of parts that were quite muddy in the nature reserve. Then we finally got to a point where the water was too deep so we couldn't go any further. From the map we saw that it was quite big, and it was a shame we couldn't discover the entire park. Our time in Farato was short, but nice and we got to experience African life.
