In the morning we had to check out the famous fish market in Catania. There was a lot of fresh fish and people were eating fish quite early. I wanted to have the typical Catania breakfast of granita and brioche. We found a place that had really nice granita. There were lots of pieces of almond and pistachio in the granita. Then we walked to the beach and enjoyed the sun. The beach was abandoned and there were several other tourists enjoying the sun as well. Unfortunately, we couldn't see Etna from the beach because there were too many clouds. We made our way to a place that specialized in arancini and they were delicious!! Next, we walked to the botanical garden. Then we walked around the city until we found a restaurant that was open for dinner. We found a great deal and had fresh pasta with fish and meat. We needed to get up super early for our flight so we had to call it a night. The next morning we woke up at 3am and took a bus to the airport from the train station. When we landed in Prague it was so foggy and everything was so frosty. Our extended weekend in Sicily was wonderful and I would be happy to go again!
