I had a friend in town who has also taught in Georgia (the country) and South Korea. It has been so great sharing our stories about both places. And since we both appreciate Korean food, I decided it was about time I went back to the Korean restaurant that I know of. We ordered a LOT of food and it truly felt like I was in korea again! I couldn't finish my food and I felt stuffed leaving the place. It was all soooooooo good! I was able to get my favorite soup and the side dishes were pretty good. Reading the menu in Korean was actually easier than with English letters because there were so many mistakes that I couldn't understand it. After lunch we went to the Memorial/Human Rights museum, which was really really good and informative. We actually ran out of time and couldn't see the whole museum because they were closing. Then we went to the national museum really quick which was great. After that we went to La Piojera to get a terremotto (a cocktail named earthquake). The last time I went to that bar(and the only time I have been to the bar) there actually was an earthquake, and I didn't feel it!! It was nice meeting some new people at the bar and I was also able to try a Tsunami(a different kind of cocktail made with mint). Then I had my friend try a completo italiano ( a hotdog with avocado, tomato and mayonnaise). It was a great day full of food and booze.
