1st days in USA

It had been 2 years since Leoš and I went to California for the holidays so it was time to go again.  We flew through Istanbul to get to California.  It was a bit backwards to do so, but we had a great luggage allowance and we were able to collect our luggage directly in LA.  We needed to grab some things from the supermarket after we got to my parents' house and the sunset was gorgeous.  Many workers got out of the store to check out the sunset.  It was a great view, but I wanted to see it at the beach.  We drove to the beach and enjoyed the view.  It was a great first evening.  The next morning, my father had me cut the ripe bananas from their banana tree. They were delicious!
